Tummy Tuck
A Tummy-tuck is not a weight loss procedure. It is important for overweight individuals, who are intending to lose weight to postpone this procedure until they are able to reach a stable body weight. This procedure is used to remove excess fat/skin from the stomach. A tummy-tuck’s main purpose is to contour the stomach, which will help provide our patients with a foundation to achieve their ideal body. A tummy-tuck will not get rid of stretch marks, but marks can be removed if they are located in the same area of the procedure.
Common causes for excess fat/skin:
- Heredity
- Constant fluctuation in weight
- Signs of aging
- Pregnancy
- Past Surgeries
