Real Men Get Snipped
Looking For a Permanent method to Birth Control?
Look no further, a vasectomy is the permanent birth control solution. Building a family is a wonderful thing, but there comes a time when it may be best to consider another form of protection.
A Vasectomy prevents the release of sperm when a man ejaculates. During the procedure, the vas deferens (tubes) from each testicle is cut, clamped, and tied. This procedure will prevent the sperm from mixing with the semen that is released from the penis. Without sperm, an egg cannot be fertilized. Although the testicles will continue making sperm, the sperm will reabsorb into the body.
Note: It usually takes several months after the vasectomy for all remaining sperm to be released or absorbed. It is important to use another method of birth control until you have a semen sample tested and it shows a zero sperm count. Otherwise, you can still get your partner pregnant.
